Your private guide will pick you up at 9:15 am to head to the Château de Chambord, driving through little towns and beautiful landscapes. Come and discover the largest Renaissance castle of the Loire Valley, built by King François I. With its 128 meters of façade, 440 rooms and 365 fireplaces, in 16th century, Chambord was used by the gentry for hunting.
After visiting the Château, we suggest you to have a lovely lunch in the park. The setting of the restaurant and the amazing view over the Château are part of the menu.
On your way to Cheverny, you will enjoy a beautiful ride through the park of the castle, a great way to observe the wildlife of this Royal forest!
The Château de Cheverny is probably the most magnificently-furnished of all the castles of the Loire Valley. After the visit, you will have a nice walk through the park and along the canal.
Before heading back to Amboise, we will make a last stop in a goat farm for a private tour. The Loire Valley is indeed home to many goat cheese farmers ! During your visit, you will learn a lot about this traditional activity and this authentic product of the Loire valley "terroir".
